Job Opportunity: Data Integration Specialist

Job Summary:

The role of the Data Integration Specialist is to design and implement data integration solutions using Oracle ODI 12c. This involves creating interfaces, packages, and load plans to ensure accurate and complete data loading.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop efficient data integration processes in ODI 12c to meet business requirements.
  2. Contribute to the estimation and planning of ETL activities for project implementation.
  3. Collaborate with the development team to write complex queries and stored procedures in Oracle.
  4. Expertly handle index partitions and synonyms in Oracle databases.
  5. Optimize interface execution time by implementing best practices and suggesting improvements.
  6. Work closely with Project Managers and leads to ensure timely implementation according to agreed scope.
  7. Provide clear explanations on ETL work to internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Take ownership of ETL tasks in the project.
  9. Communicate effectively with Business and IT teams to clarify requirements and implementation details.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data integration using Oracle ODI 12c.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts, including index partitions and synonyms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize interface execution time.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of ETL tasks and deliver results under pressure.
