Job Title: Database Administrator Expert

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team.

Job Description:

This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to meet the needs of our organization.

You will work closely with developers, applications teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that database systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Database Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain databases to meet business requirements.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
  • Error Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in database management systems, including Oracle EBS.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC: Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) implementation and management.
  • Scripting Skills: Good scripting skills to automate regular DBA admin tasks.
