Job Description

CodeVyasa is a mid-sized product engineering company that works with top-tier product/solutions companies.

The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ yrs. of experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services.

Responsibilities include writing efficient, reusable, and scalable code in Python, working with SQL databases for data modeling, queries, and performance optimization, implementing and optimizing solutions using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS, and EC2, ensuring data security, reliability, and compliance within cloud environments, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to enable advanced analytics and reporting, troubleshooting, optimizing, and monitoring data workflows and cloud resources, and maintaining documentation of system architecture, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Data Analytics – Associate/Professional)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Glue, Redshift, IAM)
  • Strong programming skills in Python (data handling, APIs, automation)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with data warehousing and big data frameworks
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines in AWS (SageMaker)
