Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator with expertise in Cassandra and NoSQL databases to optimize database performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to manage production databases, including configuration, administration, monitoring, security management, performance optimization, replication, troubleshooting, and backup.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade nodes in high availability clusters.
  • Evaluate proper monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reporting in the production environment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in designing, maintaining, and administering NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
  • 6+ years of experience in designing, maintaining, and administering traditional SQL-based databases (MySQL).
  • Experience managing message bus infrastructures strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
