Lead Engineer in IC Design and Implementation

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team in the field of integrated circuit (IC) design and implementation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in all phases of the IC design process, including RTL->GDS2, and experience with leading edge technologies such as TSMC 7nm PNR sign-off using a full COT flow from RTL/gate to GDS.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of complex mixed-signal SoCs
  • Leading teams of implementation engineers
  • Working with external IP vendors to integrate blocks into the design
  • Ensuring that each aspect of the design meets specified requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Required Experience:
  • All phases of the IC design process from RTL->GDS2
  • Analog/Mixed/Custom Signal PNR experience preferred
  • TSMC 7nm PNR sign-off experience using a full COT flow from RTL/gate to GDS
  • Hierarchical Place & Route experience
  • Floorplanning, clock & power network architecture and design
  • UPF/CPF power intent flow – multiple supply domains (bump, deca, power switch placement methods)
  • Digital design, timing analysis, and DFT
  • LVS/DRC/ERC, EMIR (static & dynamic)
  • FCBGA I/O ring layout
  • EDA Tools: Cadence (Innovus, Voltus), Mentor (Calibre), Ansys (Redhawk, Totem)

Education and Work Experience:

A BTech/MTech/PhD with 5-10 years' experience in chip implementation and 3-5 years as a top-level lead is required. Proven track record with multiple successful final production tape-outs at 16/14nm, 10nm, preferably 7nm is also essential.
