Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to contribute to our overall strategy by ensuring software applications meet design specifications and requirements.

This includes testing iOS, Android, web, and other digital interfaces for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with supported devices, browsers, and user interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation testing methodologies, as well as experience working in cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project purpose and functional requirements
  • Functional and automation testing of web and mobile applications
  • Set up automation suites based on requirements, business cases, and user stories
  • Convert manual test cases into automation scripts
  • Perform regression testing for manual and automation cases
  • Provide estimates based on scope of work
  • Design documentation of automated processes
  • Prepare test reports and defect review with stakeholders
  • Verify data across RDBMS and NoSQL databases
  • Lead and mentor Agile QA teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development life cycle
  • Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript programming languages
  • Experience writing BDD test cases
  • Hands-on experience with API testing techniques and tools like Rest-Assured
  • Solid experience developing and debugging automation scripts
  • Experience with Selenium webdriver, Appium, or mobile automation tools
  • Hands-on experience with SQL queries
  • Good understanding of security architecture
  • Experience with test case review, defect review, team handling, and agile tool chains
  • Experience with performance testing using LoadRunner or JMeter
  • Expertise in Playwright for automating modern web applications
  • Hands-on experience testing APIs using Postman or Playwright's API testing capabilities
  • Experience working with cloud-based test environments
  • Strong understanding of front-end and backend testing strategies
  • Proficient in written and spoken English

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience designing automation frameworks
  • Experience setting up Jenkins jobs for test suites
  • Experience with source code management systems like GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Experience with load testing tools and suites like JMeter, BlazeMeter
