Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Execute Comprehensive Test Plans: Utilize software requirements to develop detailed test plans and cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage across various platforms.
  • Conduct Rigorous Testing: Perform functional, regression, UI, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), identifying defects and tracking them using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Maintain Test Artifacts: Update and manage test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Engage in Agile/scrum ceremonies to align testing efforts with development cycles, clarifying requirements and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in software testing principles.
  • Manual Testing Experience: Focused experience in manual testing across web and/or mobile applications, with proficiency in formalizing test documentation.
  • Defect Tracking Tools: Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, with strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • API Testing Tools: Familiarity with API testing tools or basic database validation techniques, adding value to the team.
  • Mobile Testing: Experience with mobile testing and device debugging tools, enhancing the quality of deliverables.
  • QA Certification: ISTQB or other relevant QA certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth.
