Leadership Role in Scalable System Development

We are on a mission to provide accessible credit to individuals. Our platform facilitates millions of transactions every month and we are scaling rapidly.

  • Write clean, efficient Golang code and lead your team in following best practices.
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand new features and projects, and determine the most effective approach for development.
  • Design systems that can handle large volumes of requests without compromising performance.
  • Work with Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee code quality – conduct detailed PR reviews and enforce adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions to maintain alignment.
  • Ensure tech documentation is up-to-date so that no one is uncertain about system functionality.
  • Effectively distribute work within your team and ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and quickly respond to incidents.
  • Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python/Shell).
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
  • Strong system design skills and extensive experience building large-scale systems.
  • Good understanding of Kafka.
  • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
  • Ability to write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
