Senior Systems Business Analyst: Expert in SAP S/4 HANA and Treasury

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Business Analyst to join our Application Development Team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions to meet the financial needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, maintain, and enhance business processes and models in the Finance area, including Treasury and Hedging.
  2. Monitor and improve how IT systems are used, including training, process change, and system change.
  3. Prepare, monitor, and manage projects to improve processes and IT systems, following standard methodologies like ASAP.
  4. Configure IT applications to support new and enhanced processes and roles, including documentation, training material, test scenarios, and working procedures.
  5. Create specifications to assist the application development team in the development of interfaces, data conversions, forms, reports, and enhancements.
  6. Own all IT applications in the defined functional area, including SAP Treasury and Hedging.
  7. Evaluate new releases and functionality and recommend their appropriateness for IFF.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or MBA/CA or any other relevant discipline.
  2. At least 10 years of solid experience in various aspects of large-scale ERP application platforms, operations, and support in international business environments, with at least five years' experience in a manufacturing environment (Order to Cash) processes / sub-processes.
  3. SAP Solution Consultant for S/4HANA global solution spanning multiple countries over North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific for Treasury and Hedging.
  4. Exhibit good command over more than one of the following areas in SAP Treasury: Cash Management, In-house Cash, Payments, Multi-Bank Connectivity, Trading Platform Integration, Short and long-term investments and Debt instruments, Credit Risk and Market data management, and Loans management (FS-CML).
  5. Understand business processes related to Financial Instruments hedging, such as intercompany loans and derivatives e.g., FX options and FX forwards, or Commodities hedging.
  6. Translate and map the business processes to enable design in SAP-TR, Hedging and surrounding applications.
  7. Hands-on ability to independently prototype SAP solution to meet end-to-end Treasury & Hedging requirements, define work-breakdown structure for a configuration and development team to develop a cohesive working solution.
  8. SAP TRM configuration and enhancements for a robust and scalable solution.
  9. Research current trends and best practices, to advise business leads and IT-configurators around best solution approach for the client.
  10. Hands-on ability to write system design documents, including detailed design, technical design, update requirements traceability, and test scenarios, cases.
  11. Design & maintain integration of SAP Treasury with SAP-Finance and other non-SAP platforms for cash-application, reconciliation, and monitoring.
  12. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
