This role involves managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, performing health checks, and ensuring effective communication with both local and global teams. The specialist will also handle project risks, quality management, and customer interactions, particularly with Japanese clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure peak performance.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party suppliers.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet client expectations and are realized in committed time frames.
  • Establish a quality management system, tracking project milestones, quality, and KPIs.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Interact with the Account team and Customer, requiring fluency in Japanese language and understanding of Japanese work culture.
  • Monitor job status, late queues, and scheduled batch jobs, resolving non-application scheduling conflicts.
  • Monitor SLA checklists and ensure SLA jobs completion within given time frames.
  • Perform ad-hoc requests like demanding, cancelling, and holding jobs.
  • Perform root cause analysis, resolution, and critical issue resolution for production systems.
  • Monitor customer infrastructure and serve as the first point of contact for alerts registered on the monitoring tool.


About You:

You'll bring 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a minimum of 3 years in IT infrastructure management projects. You'll be fluent in Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) and English, both written and verbal. You'll have proven experience in service delivery, managing infrastructure projects within or similar scale enterprise environments. You'll be proficient in IT systems, including networks, hardware, software, and troubleshooting, with a solid understanding of operating systems, networks, and software systems. Experience with cloud technologies, databases, or programming languages is a plus. You'll have experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or Jira, and a good understanding of distributed console and batch monitoring environments. You'll handle production operating system resource availability and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
