Audit Manager- Commercial


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to lead our commercial audit team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and GAAS, as well as excellent leadership and analytical skills.

  • Conduct comprehensive financial statements audits in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Lead a team of accounting and auditing experts to deliver high-quality results.
  • Pursue independent research in accounting and auditing to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Foster strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, and colleagues to drive collaborative efforts.
  • Analyze presentation and disclosure impact to ensure accurate reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following qualifications and skills are essential for this role:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in US GAAP and GAAS.
  • Hold a qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional certification in accounting and tax fields.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Caseware and Caseview, preferred skills.
  • Excel in teamwork and leadership, showcasing outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is essential.
  • Industry exposure: General Commercial, with a preference for construction industry experience and background in reviews and compilations.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under urgency-driven projects is crucial.
  • Willingness to learn new software is a must.
  • Quick learner, enthusiastic, positive demeanor, and a team player are essential traits.
  • Availability to work long hours during busy season times is required.
