Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Valuation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for valuing businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for various accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or economics, and excellent technical skills. You should be comfortable working with financial databases like Capital IQ and Bloomberg, and have experience with financial models in Excel.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Valuations: Conduct thorough analyses of historical financial results to understand business trends and identify risks.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop discount rates and conduct financial statement analysis to support valuation conclusions.
  • Market Research: Perform market research and develop industry growth estimates to inform valuation models.
  • Valuation Reports: Prepare detailed reports outlining valuation methodologies and conclusions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial databases like Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present complex financial information to clients and internal stakeholders.
