Print Production Leadership

The Print Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day execution of print projects for clients, ensuring timely deliverables through effective project management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize Client expectations to drive successful project outcomes
  • Evaluate and adhere to Client's processes and policies to deliver work tasks efficiently
  • Offer technical support and counsel to minimize costs and optimize resource allocation
  • Collaborate with artwork studios and printers to produce high-quality prints and maintain consistency across all print materials
  • Extend support during the design phase, reviewing artwork and identifying potential risks
  • Lead conversations with stakeholders regarding color assessments on print work
  • Develop strong project management skills, tracking project timelines to meet deadlines
  • Manage color standards storage and facilitate required courier arrangements with logistics companies
  • Take initiative and be proactive in resolving challenges and finding solutions
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Provide support onsite, offsite, and at printer sites as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive print production experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Client-facing experience and prior experience in Project/Account management
  • Familiarity with Color Management or Separation tools
  • Strong knowledge of various print methods (e.g., Offset, Flexo, or Gravure)
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills from conceptualization to completion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues across the organization, and external clients or vendors
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines, and reporting
  • Occasional travel is required (Local/International)
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
