Senior Accountant AP/AR Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Transactions Management:
  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, verifying proper approvals and coding.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Cash Flow Optimization:
  • Monitor vendor payment terms to optimize working capital.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
Accounting and Reporting:
  • Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable and receivable.
Requirements:Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable roles is essential.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and data entry skills necessary.
  • Outstanding communication skills required for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and computer skills essential.
