ETL Data Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Data Quality Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our large-scale data pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in testing and validating our data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data is delivered to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Test ETL processes to verify data accuracy, consistency, and throughput.
- Validate Kafka/Redpanda pipelines, including producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, and Avro/JSON.
- Write and run MongoDB queries to assess data quality.
- Create and maintain test cases, defect reports, and collaborate with developers/product teams.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA engineer.
- Familiarity with process methodologies used in the software industry.
- Strong knowledge of ETL testing, data validation, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka/Redpanda.
- Good understanding of throughput, consistency, and defect tracking.
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Scripting skills in Python/Java for automation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Flink/Spark or other streaming frameworks.
