Our QA team plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our data projects. As a Data Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our data.

We are seeking an experienced professional with minimum 3+ years of QA experience in data projects to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good experience in ETL/Data warehouse projects, collaboration with Development/Business teams to understand requirements, analyzing Business Requirements/cases and developing/managing test scenarios, ability to create test files to validate Business requirements and metadata layer configurations, strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis, ability to perform root cause analysis on defects, strong analytical and technical skills to address data issues, experience using Jira to track work assignments, working experience in Cloud-related projects, AWS/AWS Services experience is a plus, and ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and will be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and executing test cases
  • Evaluating the testing process and making recommendations as necessary
  • Executing test cases in a timely manner
  • Identifying and recording bugs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of QA experience in data projects
  • Good experience in ETL/Data warehouse projects
