Information Security Auditor

The role of Information Security Auditor involves conducting thorough assessments of an organization's information systems and technology controls to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Audits are conducted to evaluate the control environment, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions to mitigate them.
  • Review and evaluation of information systems, applications, databases, and IT infrastructure for control effectiveness and risk exposure is a critical component of this role.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks is also a key responsibility.
  • Auditors must prepare detailed reports highlighting risks, control gaps, and recommending corrective actions to senior management and stakeholders.

For this role, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field, and active CISA certification are highly desirable. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, information security, or compliance roles is required.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address business risks.
