Developer and Analyst for Meaningful Projects

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Development Research Analyst. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse development sector projects including research, monitoring & evaluation, digital solutions, and policy analysis across domains like education, health, environment, and rural development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies and support policy analysis and research publication development.
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis, prepare research briefs and summary reports, and support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations.
- Help maintain project databases and documentation, assist in survey design and data collection tool development, and provide research support to senior team members.
- Support client presentation preparation, field survey coordination and data collection, and help in project documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, MSW, MBA (Rural Management) or related field.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis), strong analytical and quantitative skills, and good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi & Odia.
- Clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking) is required, basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools, and eagerness to learn new tools and skillsets.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of survey design and research methodology, understanding of development sector challenges, experience with online survey platforms (KoBo, SurveyCTO), and proficiency in using LLMs and AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) for various work applications.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, basic Adobe Creative Suite) and creative thinking for content development and social media engagement.
