We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud-native environments. This individual will lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions, drive automation of deployment pipelines and operational tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and implement design specifications for cloud infrastructure solutions, leveraging expertise in cloud computing and containerization.
  • Lead Kubernetes (K8s) cluster operations, including operator development with Product Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), rolling upgrades, backup/restore, and automatic failover management.
  • Horizontal and vertical scaling of workloads, monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability and performance, persistent storage and volume management.
  • Implement cloud container management best practices for production workloads, drive automation of deployment pipelines and operational tasks.
Requirements:
  • Kubernetes (K8s): Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in managing production-grade clusters.
  • Cloud Computing: Minimum 4 years of experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Agile Development: Minimum 3 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Docker: At least 2 years of containerization experience.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or other similar tools.
