Cloud Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Specialist to support our cloud capabilities and manage teams of automation engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, containerization, and orchestration, with experience in implementing CI/CD tool sets and best practices for automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the cloud capability and manage teams of automation engineers
  • Closely collaborate with program leads, technology architects, and data scientists across global locations
  • Estimate for cloud platform automation and build proposals
  • Plan and perform Infrastructure automation, Build, Deploy, and Release automation on various Cloud platforms
  • Design and configure DevSecOps pipeline for various projects
  • Mentor and guide fresh talent in the capability
  • Serve as a thought leader and SME for cloud industry trends, new and existing technology offerings, and architectural concepts

Technical Skills:

  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Containers/Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS
  • Infra as Code: Terraform, AWS CDK or Azure Biceps
  • CI/CD Tool: AWS Code Repo, Azure DevOps
  • Repository Management: Artifactory, Nexus, JFrog
  • Code Analysis: SonarQube
  • Security Tools: Fortify/Blackduck/Checkmarx
  • Monitoring / Security: Grafana, Prometheus
  • Database: MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB
  • Scripting/Languages: Shell, Python, Groovy, YAML

What We Expect:

  • Drive cloud adoption by implementing CI/CD tool sets and best practices for automation
  • Managing cloud AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms using Docker, and Kubernetes on Cloud (AKS, EKS)
  • Automating tools/infra provisioning using Ansible, Terraform
  • Automate provisioning and repetitive tasks using Terraform and Python
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members
  • Experience in developing proposals and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
