Security Engineering Lead

This is a critical role in our organization that involves elevating the overall security posture. The successful candidate will design and enforce policies to ensure the security and compliance of our systems.

  • Enterprise Security Architecture: Develop and maintain security governance and compliance frameworks, adhering to industry standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Policy Automation and Guardrails: Implement policy-as-code, integrate continuous compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines, and build automated guardrails for cloud, containers, and virtual machines.
  • Infrastructure Hardening and Drift Detection: Automate drift alerts and self-healing playbooks for VPCs, firewall rules, Kubernetes clusters, and endpoints.
  • Monitoring, Logging, and Incident Response: Configure Cloud Audit Logs, SIEM exports, and custom alerts for critical security events; lead root-cause investigations, develop detection logic, and create runbooks for cloud-wide incidents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience driving security and compliance in dynamic environments, particularly in fintech and portfolio-management standards.
  • Deep expertise in GCP security features, including IAM, KMS, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Logging/Audit.
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills and GitOps experience.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and policy-as-code frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear policies and remediation plans.

Helpful Experience:

  • Familiarity with multi-cloud security controls.
  • Security certifications (GCP Professional Security Engineer, CISSP).
  • Experience with service mesh or zero-trust architectures.
