Guidewire Claim Center Configure Developer Role

A Guidewire Claim Center Configure Developer plays a pivotal role in shaping our organization's technical landscape. This full-time position involves configuring Guidewire Claim Center, creating and maintaining configuration artifacts, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing unit tests to ensure quality and accuracy, and participating in code reviews to enhance coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Guidewire Claim Center to meet business requirements by leveraging expert knowledge of the platform.
  • Create and maintain configuration artifacts using Java, GOSU, and XML, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire Claim Center, applying analytical skills to diagnose and rectify problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth integration and effective communication.
  • Perform unit tests to validate the quality and accuracy of configurations.
  • Participate in code reviews to promote best practices and improve overall coding standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Profound experience with Guidewire Claim Center configuration and development.
  • Expertise in Java, GOSU, and XML, as well as a solid understanding of Guidewire Data Model and PCF (Page Configuration Files).
  • Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, and RESTful APIs, with a focus on seamless integration.
  • Experience with SQL and database management, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster collaboration and clear communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in the insurance domain is highly valued but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in web development frameworks such as Spring Boot or Play Framework.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
