Climate Innovation Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support our investment team in sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, and assisting in deal execution and portfolio management.

This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates early in their careers who are passionate about climate solutions, venture capital, and sustainable innovation. As an Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable innovation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment Research and Sourcing Support: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through thorough research and preliminary outreach.
  • Due Diligence Assistance: Collaborate with the team to conduct financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals.
  • Investment Process Support: Help prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Portfolio Support: Assist in tracking performance and impact metrics and conducting basic analyses for portfolio companies.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Help coordinate our presence at events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills specific to early-stage investments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
