Cloud Security Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Expert to secure our cloud infrastructure.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in cloud security, with a strong focus on protecting assets within AWS and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage security controls across AWS and Azure cloud environments to protect our infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Work with development teams to integrate security into the DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security is a core part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud resources, SaaS applications, and APIs.
  • Assist in defining and enforcing API security policies, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
  • Ensure all cloud environments and applications adhere to compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Monitor for security incidents, respond to alerts, and perform initial incident analysis and remediation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cloud Security: Experience with implementing security controls in cloud environments.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, including their native security services (e.g., IAM, Security Hub, Azure Security Center).
  • SaaS & API Security: Knowledge of best practices for securing Software as a Service applications and APIs.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience in integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Compliance & Standards: Practical understanding of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 security
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
