Cloud Security Expert

The company seeks a highly skilled Network Cloud Security Specialist to support its cloud initiatives. This role will assist project managers and technical teams with planning, execution, and coordination of cloud network projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Support and Coordination :
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of cloud network projects, ensuring that milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document project plans, and update stakeholders on project progress.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes for tracking action items.
- Coordinate with cloud service providers and vendors to facilitate timely delivery of assistance and implementation support.
- Assistance and Implementation Support :
- Assist technical teams with the setup, configuration, and management of cloud network resources, including virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Provide troubleshooting support for cloud network infrastructure, escalating issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Maintain documentation on network configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cloud environments.
- Support ongoing optimization and maintenance of cloud networking to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Network Security and Compliance :
- Assist in the implementation of security best practices, including network segmentation, access controls, and data protection measures in cloud environments.
- Support the multi-OEM network security appliances.
- Support the application of compliance requirements within cloud network configurations and policies.
- Monitor network performance and alerts, contributing to incident response and remediation processes when security issues arise.
- Reporting :
- Prepare regular reports on cloud network performance, project status, and technical issues encountered during implementation.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including timelines, project milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Document and update network topology, design, and configuration changes as projects evolve.
- Knowledge Sharing :
- Assist in organizing training sessions for team members on cloud network tools and best practices.
- Work closely with cloud engineers to gain technical knowledge, staying updated on emerging cloud networking technologies.
