Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Master Data Governance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional with expertise in equipment master data management, data governance, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement best practices in equipment master data cleansing, standardization, and governance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data quality standards are met and implemented throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain data governance processes for equipment master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Analyze and process equipment master data as per project parameters such as timelines and quality assurance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and automation, and evaluate/recommend emerging technologies that may contribute to our analytical platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Electronics & Telecommunication.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of industry experience, with a primary focus on plant maintenance, equipment master data cleansing, governance, and data integrity.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in equipment master data management, especially in cleansing, standardizing, and ensuring governance across data sets.
  • Detailed technical knowledge from an engineering background.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices, particularly as they apply to equipment master data.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoken.
  • Ability to perform under dynamic project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Well-versed with common computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong presentation skills, especially for client-facing communications.
