Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Breakwater Construction Expert to play a crucial role in designing and constructing safe and efficient breakwater systems that protect port infrastructure.

As a key member of our team, you will lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure the safety and efficiency of port facilities.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in coastal and marine engineering, with expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of breakwater systems to ensure the safety and efficiency of port infrastructure.
  2. Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  3. Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply your knowledge of hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  4. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the smooth execution of projects and compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working on Indian port development projects.
