We are seeking a seasoned Investment Accounting Manager to spearhead investment accounting initiatives within our family office.

About the Role

This position is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely investment accounting, supporting staff with complex entries, and reconciliations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • General Ledger Accounting: Extensive experience in general ledger accounting principles and practices.
  • Investment Accounting: In-depth knowledge of investment accounting platforms, including Sage, QBO, Geneva, and Investran.
  • Consolidated Accounting Concepts: Strong understanding of consolidated accounting concepts, including eliminating entries.
  • Private Equity Accounting: Proficiency in private equity accounting principles and practices.
  • Wealth Enterprise Accounting: Experience in entity cost allocation and wealth enterprise accounting.
  • Trust & Foundation Accounting: Knowledge of trust and foundation accounting principles and practices.
  • Basic Tax Treatments: Familiarity with basic tax treatments and regulations.
  • Diverse Experience: Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially for family enterprises.
  • Reviewer Role and Staff/Project Management: Experience in reviewer roles and staff/project management.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Communication Abilities: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in US accounting.
