Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Experience Level: 5-7 Years

Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering
Reporting To: QA Lead / Test Manager
Job Summary:
We seek a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and hands-on experience in banking payments systems, including OPF, Wires, SWIFT, and SEPA.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.
- Write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying OOP principles.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Document test strategies, plans, and results for audit and compliance purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine such as OPF is desirable.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git Bitbucket).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
