EH&S Business Expert

The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between EH&S and IT, facilitating collaboration and ensuring seamless execution of EH&S-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Manage EH&S-related projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, delivery, and post-project evaluation.
  • Business Analysis: Translate EH&S business needs into actionable IT requirements and solutions.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the stability, compliance, and usability of EH&S applications and platforms.
  • Incident Management: Oversee incident, request, and release management activities for EH&S applications, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with global process owners to ensure alignment of local needs with global standards, promoting consistency and best practices.
  • Enhancements: Coordinate enhancements, upgrades, and integrations of EH&S solutions within the enterprise landscape, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor service performance and ensure SLA adherence, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Compliance Governance: Provide governance and compliance oversight to ensure EH&S applications meet regulatory requirements, minimizing risk and ensuring continuous compliance.
  • Change Management: Support change management and adoption of EH&S tools across business units, promoting user acceptance and ensuring successful implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10–15 years of experience in IT business partnering, business analysis, or service management, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Strong knowledge of EH&S processes and supporting IT systems (SAP EH&S, Enablon, or similar platforms), with hands-on experience and technical expertise.
  • Experience in project management (end-to-end IT project lifecycle), with proven skills in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Good understanding of ITIL practices (incident, change, release, and problem management), with the ability to apply these principles in a real-world setting.
  • Hands-on experience with service and vendor management, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to bridge IT and business functions, communicating effectively and diplomatically.
  • Experience working in global environments with multiple business units and process owners, with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and adaptability.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for EH&S systems, with a commitment to upholding industry standards and best practices.
Preferred
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA EH&S or related modules, with a desire to learn and grow in this area.
  • ITIL, PMP, or BA certifications, with a willingness to pursue ongoing professional development and training.
  • Experience in integration of EH&S tools with ERP and reporting platforms, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
