Head of Platform Engineering

As a leader in software engineering, you will define and execute a platform engineering strategy aligned with product and business goals.

You will lead global R&D roadmaps and product transformation initiatives. Your team will build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineers.

The development and operations of a scalable, reliable SaaS platform will be overseen by you. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 20+ years of experience in software engineering, with 15+ years in SaaS platform/product development.
  • Proven leadership managing teams of 100+ engineers across diverse skill sets.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, containers, APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of software and infrastructure cost management.
  • Technical skills: Java, .NET, AWS, RedHat, ETL tools, front-end technologies; familiarity with Github Copilot and Jira.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and building engineering talent pipelines.
