We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Database Systems Manager to lead our team at the forefront of database administration.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex database systems, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong technical expertise on SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgresDB, SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Cloud DB.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in production DB management.
- Working experience on relational and non-relational database administration.
- Advanced DB management skills, including backup/recovery and tuning.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Maria database installation, creation, configuration, and fine-tuning.
- Experience with MySQL different versions (MySQL-5.6.x, 5.7.x, and 8.x) and MariaDB different versions (MariaDB-10.x, 11.x).
- Knowledge of AWS cloud database services like RDS MySQL, Aurora MySQL, and Redshift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Migrating databases from physical servers to AWS cloud DB services and configuring ETL replication from RDS to Redshift through AWS DMS.
