Job Title: Senior UX Designer

About the Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you will create empathetic product UX via pragmatic storytelling, detailed flow mapping, interactive prototyping, and usability testing.

You will conceptualize, communicate, and pitch your ideas frequently in front of peers from different departments.

We expect you to bring fresh approaches, insights, and convey what's best for the user to interact with a seamless product using best UX practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create quick sketches, comprehensive wireframes, rich visuals, and interactive prototypes to deliver finished design deliverables.
  • Partner with Product Team to ideate on product direction and translate user stories into UX solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, experience, and visuals.
  • Document the user experience through mockups, design specs, and prototype demos.
  • Create and communicate design guidelines, patterns, and libraries.
  • Execute UX and visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Drive design quality, usability, and accessibility standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design, or a related field of study.
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3 code & basic development practices will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional experience with UX/UI design and highly interactive products and digital interfaces.
  • Experience in prototyping & visual design.
  • Hands-on experience in working with Design systems in the past.

Knowledge, Ability & Skills:

  • A strong portfolio detailing interaction, thought process, and UX design skills.
  • Good knowledge in interaction design principles & user-centered design processes.
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, composition, information architecture, color theory, fluid grid systems, animation, and transitions.
  • Create detailed user flows while being able to imagine movement and co-relation between different components to create user delight.
  • Design thinking, creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathy for the end-user and provide the best usable solution.
  • Good English writing & speaking skills.
