Senior Android App Designer

Mobile Application Developer Position
We are seeking a skilled mobile application developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Android devices.

About the Role:
As a mobile application developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement app features. You will write clean, well-documented, and testable code using Kotlin and Java, and follow best practices for Android development, including architectural patterns like MVVM or MVI. Additionally, you will integrate with RESTful APIs and other backend services, implement UI designs, and ensure a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement app features.
2. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using Kotlin and Java.
3. Follow best practices for Android development, including architectural patterns like MVVM or MVI.
4. Integrate with RESTful APIs and other backend services.
5. Implement UI designs and ensure a smooth user experience.
6. Debug and fix bugs reported by users or QA.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
10. Utilize strong knowledge of Android Application Design & Development on Mobile and Watches.
11. Apply strong programming and algorithmic background for code optimization.
12. Work with Java, Kotlin, JetPack components, RxJava, Dagger, MVVM pattern.
13. Develop Database, SqLite in Android apps.
14. Employ strong debugging and memory optimization skills.
15. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience in Agile methodologies.
16. Understand Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
17. Have familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
18. Possess strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices.
19. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
20. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem libraries.
21. Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
22. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
23. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
24. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
25. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
26. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:
1. Strong knowledge of Android Application Design & Development on Mobile and Watches.
2. Strong programming and algorithmic background for code optimization.
3. Hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, JetPack components, RxJava, Dagger, MVVM pattern.
4. Hands-on experience of developing Database, SqLite in Android apps.
5. Strong debugging and memory optimization skills.
6. Excellent communication skills and experience in Agile methodologies.
