Key Responsibilities:

The role emphasizes building partnerships with private actors and supporting sustainable, community-led enterprises. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market dynamics and be able to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategies and solutions for value chain promotion.
  • Conduct and lead technical workshops with stakeholders, including market engagement sessions.
  • Identify key market players and facilitate linkages, business development pitches, and financing initiatives.
  • Develop capacity-building modules for target beneficiaries collaborating with consortium partners.
  • Maintain active, documented engagement with market actors and beneficiaries.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business.
  • Strong English language skills required, Hindi proficiency an asset.
  • 8 years of professional experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain promotion, marketing, business model development, and establishing market linkages including providing access to finance with a focus on agro/agroforestry/ayurvedic products; 4 years of the total experience in projects in India.
