Backend Software Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to contribute to all aspects of software development from architecture to design to estimation to development to testing and release. Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of production level Java development experience, hands-on expertise in Java Development, and good problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture to design to estimation to development to testing and release.
  • Develop, debug, and build automated tests for multiple programming assignments.
  • Collaborate with product owners, software architects, and other software engineers to transform high-level requirements into product enhancements delivered incrementally to customers.
  • Contribute to process improvements and deliverables that increase the team's effectiveness in responding to customer needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in production-level Java development.
  • Hands-on experience in Java Development with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies such as SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink.
  • Experience working on Spring/Spring-Boot Framework.
  • Knowledge of Terraform for building infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to develop scalable systems and services in the cloud, including calling other REST services from within a REST service.
  • Skill in using design patterns.
  • Experience in building, running, and monitoring SaaS applications at large scale.
  • Familiarity with multi-repo GIT code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks like Blazemeter, shell scripts, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
