Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team.
As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces through space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection. You will work closely with clients and the design team to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement interior design concepts that meet client needs and project goals
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand design requirements and preferences
- Prepare and present design presentations to clients and stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design projects
- Design and specify FF&E, including furniture, lighting, and flooring
- Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Skills:
- Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skills
- Interior Design and FF&E selection skills
- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in interior design or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Professional certifications such as LEED AP or NCIDQ
