Senior Backend Architecture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to build the foundation of our revolutionary Bitcoin wallet, which provides sovereign-grade security with everyday usability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop low-latency APIs and real-time services for instant sends, swaps, and approvals.
  • Owning backend partner integrations.
  • Design and maintain a resilient ledger and state machine for money movement.
  • Implement a policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and observability across production systems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years building backend systems at scale.
  • Strong skills in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with async I/O, queues, retries, state machines, and database modeling for consistency.
  • A track record of owning systems end-to-end, from design to production.
  • Bonus: experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems.
