Design Test Engineer

As a key contributor to our team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of complex Systems on Chip (SoCs). Your primary focus will be on designing test architectures and methodologies that ensure seamless integration with other teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the definition and implementation of Design for Test (DFT) architectures for complex SoCs
  • Plan, execute, and deliver scan, At-Speed Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), Memory Built-In Self-Test (MBIST), and boundary scan insertion and validation
  • Collaborate with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors to evaluate, deploy, and optimize DFT tool flows
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Support test vector generation and validation for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the DFT team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in DFT architectures and methodologies
  • Experience with industry-standard DFT tools and methodologies from leading EDA vendors
  • Proven ability to develop and debug scripting solutions using Python, Perl, and TCL
  • Solid understanding of SoC design cycle, RTL to GDSII flow, and test requirements
  • Experience collaborating with RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams
