The Center for Climate Change & Energy Transition is seeking a highly skilled and motivated research specialist to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated researcher to conduct in-depth analysis on climate change mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, economics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and data analysis to inform policy recommendations.
  • Develop high-quality reports, policy briefs, and articles.
  • Collaborate with experts from government and academia to stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends.
  • Assist in organizing events, seminars, and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Supervise research interns and provide guidance on research projects.
  • Develop and maintain industry networks and partnerships to enhance research initiatives.
  • Search and review published literature on research topics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (environmental science, economics, etc.).
  • PhD preferred but not required.
  • 0-1 years of work experience in research or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
