Legal Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to manage and coordinate legal matters across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong research skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Litigation management involves handling pan-India litigation, managing documentation, filing, and coordinating with lawyers across various geographical locations and interacting with internal stakeholders to ensure timely actions are taken regarding disputes;
  • Criminal and consumer matters pertain to the company; drafting responses, evidence affidavits, and reply to legal notices. Appearing on behalf of the company before courts, ombudsmen, and other statutory authorities is also required.

Researching legal issues is crucial, as well as handling property-related matters, including due diligence, lease/leave and license documentation, their registrations, and managing legal requirements for a pan-India branch network. Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and finalizing terms and conditions of contracts/agreements connected with day-to-day operations and business activities is essential. Coordinating and working closely with external counsels, when necessary, on legal matters is also a key responsibility. Working with and extending full support to the legal function in discharging legal and regulatory functions, being willing to assume new and challenging responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure is essential.
