As a senior quality assurance professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests for software and web applications using Cypress and JavaScript. This role is part of an agile team that emphasizes strong coding skills and collaboration with development teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web standards, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with REST API testing and automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for software/web applications using Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams in an agile setting to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
  • Configure and extend Jenkins with custom plugins to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to automation and testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in software/web application testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in agile environments.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong hands-on coding in Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python.
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools: Selenium (Ruby), Cypress, Playwright.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS, web standards.
  • REST API testing experience.
  • Experience configuring and extending Jenkins with custom plugins.
  • Knowledge of enterprise automation (parallelism, distribution).
  • Familiar with client-side MVC frameworks.
  • Server-side development exposure (preferably ASP.NET).
  • Technical expertise in RDBMS, ideally SQL Server.
