Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will facilitate the research, exploration, analysis, and documentation of business systems requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate user requirements into detailed functional specifications for development.
  • Research costs and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
  • Analyze business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that meet those needs.
  • Document current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
  • Evaluate system factors including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware, and software needs.
  • Assist in creating business case documentation.
  • Understand architectural consistency and usability standards.
  • Drive the implementation of systems, working closely with technical team members.
  • Plan and complete assigned configuration tasks within deadlines.
  • Define and develop user test cases and validate test results during testing.
  • May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
  • Play a third-level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
  • Familiarity with application integration methods, including data mapping processes.
  • Strong domain knowledge in at least one business area.
  • Superb communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical collaborators at all levels.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and efficient with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Able to work independently and within teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
