Expert Node.js Automation Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled expert in automation testing with 5+ years of experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with TypeScript, Playwright, Microservices, and GraphQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and BDD approach for optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Design and implement scalable and highly available RESTful APIs and Microservices using JavaScript technologies to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve complex issues in distributed services ecosystems.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and API gateway integrations like 3Scale to streamline workflows and enhance security.
  • Maintain expertise in task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka to ensure efficient communication and data exchange.
  • Ensure adherence to best coding, testing, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in Agile methodology and conduct research to benchmark technology against industry leaders to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies with a proven track record of success.
  • At least 1 year hands-on experience with TypeScript to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Experience in Automation Testing Techniques and Tools, e.g., Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, Selenium to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Excellent knowledge in development and testing scalable and highly available Restful APIs/Microservices using JavaScript technologies to guarantee seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Able to create end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright/Selenium preferably using BDD approach to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Practical experience with GraphQL to ensure efficient data exchange and integration.
  • Well-versed with CI/CD principles to streamline workflows and enhance security.
  • Understanding of containerization, experienced in Dockers, Kubernetes to ensure efficient deployment and scalability.
  • Exposed to API gateway integrations like 3Scale to streamline workflows and enhance security.
  • Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth) to ensure secure and seamless integration.
  • Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka to ensure efficient communication and data exchange.
