Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 1.3-7 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.

This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and verify Purchase & Sales Bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain cash control, prepare vouchers, and enter daily transactions into accounting books/ERP systems.
  • Manage creditors, process vendor payments via NEFT/RTGS, and ensure timely payment.
  • Liaise with bankers for daily operations, including LC documentation.
  • Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ensure accuracy.
  • Compute salaries and wages, maintain Salary and Attendance Registers, and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare monthly stock statements for banks (Cash Credit facility).
  • Assist in finalizing accounts, including Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow.
  • Draft official letters related to accounts and statutory matters.
  • Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management.

Statutory Compliances:

  • Income Tax: Compute TDS, pay taxes, e-file returns, issue Form 16/16A, compute advance tax, and file ITR.
  • GST: Register, amend, generate challans, file GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, refunds, audits, and E-Way bills.
  • PF & ESI: Make monthly contributions, generate UAN, process transfers/withdrawals, and register employees under PF/ESI.
  • Legacy Compliances: VAT/CST, Excise Duty – file, reconcile, and provide audit support.

Requirements:

  • B.Com (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent degree.
  • Preferred: M.Com or specialization in Finance/Accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple statutory timelines.
A team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
