Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Experience Preferred: 5-7 Years

Location: Hybrid mode in multiple locations

Job Description:

  • Migrate data with expertise in on-premises to cloud, and cloud-to-cloud workloads.
  • Proficient in Azure migration tools (Azure Data Factory, Data Migration Service, Storage Migration Service, AzCopy).
  • Strong understanding of networking and infrastructure setup (virtual machines, virtual networks, connectivity, ExpressRoute/VPN).
  • Experience with backup/restore solutions (Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, Site Recovery).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and common relational database management system migrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end data migration projects from on-premises to Azure and between cloud platforms.
  • Design extract-transform-load/load-extract-transform pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks or other Azure services.
  • Perform workload migrations including databases, applications, and unstructured data into Azure services.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to configure Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, network security groups, subnets, and ExpressRoute/VPNs.
  • Implement and manage backup and restore solutions using Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Ensure data security and compliance during migration.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize migration performance.
  • Document migration strategies, runbooks, and post-migration validation steps.
