Senior Game Engine Programmer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced game engine programmer to lead our project at jabali.

About the Position:

We require a talented individual with a deep understanding of game engine architecture, who has shipped multiple video games and has a proven track record of working with game engine source code.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Game Engine Systems: Develop and implement game engine systems for video games, ensuring high-performance and scalability.
  • Source Code Customization and Optimization: Work closely with the source code of game engines, customizing and optimizing to meet the specific needs of our projects.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to integrate and develop new game features, tools, and workflows.
  • Engine Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze and improve engine performance on various platforms, ensuring the best possible player experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in video game development, with a specific focus on game engine architecture.
  • Proficient in Scripting, C++ or C# and familiar with other programming languages used in game development.
  • Strong understanding of computer graphics, physics, and game AI programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
