About This Role :

As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the entire customer journey from data storage to server application logic and front-end UI.

You will work closely with other engineers to build and ship key features, leveraging your expertise in full-stack engineering, APIs, and software development best practices.

A key focus area for this role is designing clean, modular, high-performing code that enables seamless collaboration and accelerates feature delivery.

This position also involves architecting and building internal standards and frameworks, ensuring consistency across the engineering organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and ship innovative features.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs that meet business needs.
  • Create efficient, reusable libraries and abstractions to accelerate development.
  • Develop internal tooling to improve development efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure smooth user experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
  • Communicate technical best practices and mentor junior engineers to drive growth and excellence.

Requirements And Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of full-time engineering experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and relevant technologies.
  • Proven track record in full-stack engineering with experience in JavaScript, Python/Django, or Ruby/Rails.
  • Strong understanding of SQL database design principles and familiarity with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with front-end and back-end architectural patterns of large-scale web applications.
  • Ability to design clean APIs and understand performance issues.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, design patterns, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical specifications both verbally and written.
  • Command over front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and React.
  • Solid CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
  • Understanding of security common attacks and defenses.
  • Knowledge of build systems configurations and setup such as Webpack.
  • Experience with infrastructure distributed systems and deploying apps into a high-scale environment.

Bonus Points :

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
