Project Manager

    This role involves spearheading project execution for cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration and accountability within a team environment.

    A key responsibility is to develop detailed project plans, incorporating input from stakeholders and team members. This entails establishing action items, due dates, dependencies, and assigning tasks to relevant personnel.

    Another critical task is leading project team meetings, driving accountability among team members to complete their assigned activities on time.

    Furthermore, the position requires managing project risks, issues, and critical path. It involves swiftly raising issues to project stakeholders, identifying mitigating actions, and developing recovery plans.

    Effective project communication is also essential, including weekly project status meetings, email updates, and stakeholder communications. The goal is to provide transparent information to management regarding project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in Project Management, preferably in manufactured-product development or related fields.
  • Associates degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on schedule.
  • Proficiency in implementing and/or improving processes.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working in an ISO 9001 Product Development Process System.
  • PMP certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Working knowledge of Configure Price Quote (Oracle CPQ), Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), Enterprise Resource Planning (Oracle JDE ERP), and Smartsheet.
  • Ability to bridge business needs with technical requirements.
  • Experience in plastics processing industry or manufacturing environment.
