Job Title: Architectural Design Manager

Overview:

Architectural design managers are responsible for overseeing the architectural design process, ensuring timely completion and quality deliverables. This role requires strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
  • Manage architectural design projects from conception to completion, including planning, designing, and coordinating with consultants and contractors.
  • Prepare detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other software tools.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections to ensure project quality and compliance.
  • Support project documentation and administration tasks as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in architecture from a reputable institution and prior work experience in architectural design, preferably with a private residence focus. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in relevant software tools, and knowledge of building codes and local regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in architectural design, preferably with a private residence focus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sketch-up, Microsoft Office suite, and Revit/BIM (optional).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and local regulations.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
